Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Profast iPhone application and related services (the "App"), operated by Deepak Sharma ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading or using Profast, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Use of App

Profast provides tools to help you track intermittent fasting and religious fasting practices. You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the App
  • Not use group features to harass, impersonate, or harm others
  • Understand that Profast is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any fasting regimen, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, underage, or have a medical condition.

Subscriptions and Billing

Profast may offer free features and optional paid subscriptions. Paid plans currently include:

  • Annual: $49.99 per year
  • Monthly: $7.99 per month

New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial where offered. After the trial, your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account through the App Store.

You can cancel anytime through your App Store subscription settings. Refunds, if any, are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policies. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Deepak Sharma or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.

Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that fasting-related information is suitable for your individual health needs.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deepak Sharma and Profast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or if you have not paid, zero.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
